Park Bench
I reversed the lens on the Brownie Hawkeye which gives a closer (and distorted) focus. Not an affect I could see myself using a whole lot, but it could be really interesting in the right situation. I'm going to try taping a close-up filter on top of the reversed lens to see what happens.
Yesterday I went to the Columbus Goodale Arts Festival, though I didn't actually know it was going on 'till I got there. I was just planning to walk around the Short North area (a small business district between downtown and campus) which holds the monthly Gallery Hop. I met a few photographers at the Festival, mostly because they asked about the camera, hehe! They were really nice guys.
One thing I noticed with the prints that some photographers were selling (though there were a few exceptions that were wonderful) was that they were really un-sharp compared to what I'm used to. There was a guy who had mostly landscape, and they were only printed as large as 11x14 but were lacking in overall sharpness even at that relatively small size. Hmm.
Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend.
