I’m a self taught photographer in Columbus, Ohio.

I really like the look and feel of vintage cameras. I’m definitely not a collector though; I’ll only get a camera if it’s fully functional because I plan to use it! Some of the cameras are really nice and some cost less than $10.00… but they each have a character that makes them special. I’ve also found the stranger the camera is, the more people stop to talk to me which can be really fun. Though sometimes people look at me like I’m crazy as well

I’m not anti-digital, I do use a DSLR but I love developing my own film. I got a Beseler enlarger and am in the process of setting up a darkroom.

Ultimately this photoblog is about having fun, taking photos, and a way for me to look back as I learn..
